Dear Students,

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to our institution, proudly named after the great Indian Nobel Laureate, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. We chose this name with purpose and pride, inspired by his profound vision of education—one that nurtures creativity, character, and limitless aspiration. I encourage each of you to dream boldly and think deeply, for it is aspiration that propels individuals toward excellence. At RNT and Vivekanand Group of Colleges, we are committed to providing you with dynamic platforms to develop your talents, refine your skills, and confidently present yourselves on national and global stages. Education here is not confined to classrooms; it is a collaborative journey. True learning flourishes when ideas are shared, discussed, and collectively explored. Therefore, we actively promote co-learning, community building, mutual trust, and a spirit of fraternity among our students.

About Chairperson

Dr. Vaseem Khan (M.A. in Philosophy and Public Administration; PG Diplomas in Journalism, Human Rights, Good Governance, and Yoga; LL.B.; Ph.D. titled “Nature of Samadhi in Indian Philosophical Perspective with Special Reference to Buddha and Yoga Philosophy”) is the Chairperson of R.N.T. College, Kapasan and Chittorgarh.

A young, energetic, and visionary academic leader, Dr. Khan understands deeply the transformative power of education. His journey reflects perseverance, dedication, and a strong commitment to bringing quality, world-class educational opportunities to students, particularly those from underserved regions. His lifelong mission is to make higher education accessible, affordable, and meaningful. He consistently works toward providing academic excellence along with financial support to deserving and economically disadvantaged students, ensuring equal opportunities for all sections of society.

  • Secretary Vision & Tammana Society, Udaipur and also associated with various social organizations.

After being elected as a president of the central student union of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur (Raj.) in 2001, he decided to put his life and efforts towards educating masses in this area, as of his belongings to Kapasan in Rajasthan. He always felt and understood the need for a college at Kapasan. Thus, in the year 2002, he founded Deeksha Creations Society under which R.N.T. P.G. College was started with initially B.A. and B.Com. courses. From the session 2002-2003 onward college was inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan Shri Anshuman Singh Ji. This was the beginning of his journey. The Journey which started in 2002 has covered several milestones till this date – A brief overview of various institutions established one by one during the course of thirteen years are :–

  • 2003:- R.N.T. Law college was established at district headquarter, Chittorgarh
  • 2004:- Degree college at district headquarter, Chittorgarh
  • 2005: B.Ed. colleges are in Dabok, Udaipur and in Chittorgarh
  • 2006: B.Ed., Shiksha Shastri College at district headquarter, Chittorgarh
  • 2008: STC college at district headquarter, Chittorgarh
  • 2012: A course in Master of Computer Application was started with the establishment of R. N. T. Institute of Technical Studies. A playgroup school “BACHPAN” was also started at Kapasan campus.
  • 2013: Deeksha International School up to class X with CBSE courses was established .
  • 2015: College offering BSTC Girls were started at  Chittorgarh.
  • 2016-17: Launching  M.Sc.( Industrial Chemistry).
  • 2016-17: Opening new courses – CA-CPT Coaching and RS-CIT Computer Certification.
  • 2017-18: Launch M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry)
  • 2018-19: PG College NAAC Accreditation
  • 2019-20:  Launch M.Sc. (Physics & Zoology )
  • 2020-21: Launch B.Sc.(Biotech) and MSW.
