Code of Conduct

The following code of conduct will apply to the entire staff (administration, managing directors, directors) including students.

INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

Students/ Teachers /Administration/ Executives of the Ravindranath Tagore group of colleges are bound to practice their roles and responsibility as per their designation. They are the representative of the college for their actions and their decision not to act.

Staff members would be responsible for instantaneous reporting of any breach of this Code, or any other incident of reasonably suspected fraud or malpractice through the hierarchy. Students should report the breach of this Code to the director and principal. Breach of the ethical Code may result in termination of the contract or student disciplinary action. If the staff member will not comfortable or the mentioned reporting authority is not available then the member can contact directly to Managing Director.

No staff member or student shall reciprocate, in any manner, against an individual who reports a perceived conflict of interest matter pursuant to this policy. An Individual who makes the report in bad faith shall be subject to disciplinary action.

Staff and students are expected to protect college property, keeping the place clean and tidy and dressing up accordingly which maintains the dignity of the place.

Boys are expected to be in full pants and clean shirts. Low-waist pants with several large pockets are not allowed. Girls are expected to dress decently. Out of respect for Indian traditions, students should avoid wearing, tight, transparent, sleeveless, or revealing clothes and should dress appropriately.

CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
All staff members and students of the Ravindranath Tagore Group of Colleges are bound to avoid circumstances that may result in a conflict of interest. All the staff members are bound to settle all their financial interests and other personal activities outside the college. You will not permit to use your positions outside or inside the college to solve personal conflicts. All the staff members and students will examine the circumstances and consult with higher authorities of the department. The college will not take any action regarding the conflict unless the direct party is not involved in it. So it is the duty of staff members and students to go through the proper channel. The entire staff member will try to avoid the conflict.

Personal Relationships in the Workplace and Classroom Sexual and financial relationships between staff and students in connection to promoting and improving academics, in case executed then college, will terminate the contract and can take any action towards the misconduct of code of conduct. Any personal, financial, or sexual relationship between the staff and the student within the college will not be tolerated.

Outside Activities The college is not responsible for your extracurricular activities and volunteering outside of college. The college will not promote or support your political status outside the college. Staff and students cannot use the college material and support to promote/her outside business and the college will consider it your outside business.

Fundraising Acceptance of any reward from the funding agency or donors, the staff members will inform the situation of the Ravindranath Tagore Group of Colleges the concerned authority.
