Chairperson's Message

Dear Students,
I am filled with gratitude to welcome you all in our college, named after great Indian Nobel laureate Ravindranath Tagore. We consciously chose the name of the institute after him as we want our students to follow his vision of life and education. We want you to have great aspiration without that one can not reach heights for which one is destined to. I would urge you to think and aspire. We promise to provide you with the best of platforms so that you can excel in your skills and present it to the world stage. I would also like to use this space to share the wisdom I have earned while running an Institute of this stature. I have learnt that learning becomes stagnant if it is not shared among peer groups. I would like to promote co-learning instead of just learning. For co-learning promote community building, Trust & Fraternity amongst each other. Again I welcome you all on behalf of RNT Family. I assure you that your life in our campus will be richly rewarding.

About Chairperson

Dr. Vaseem Khan  (MA- Philosophy & Public Administration, PG Diploma in Journalism, Human rights, Good Governance and Yoga, LLB, Ph.D. (Topic- “Nature of Samadhi in Indian Philosophical Perspective with Special Reference to Buddha & Yoga Philosophy”). Dr. Khan, Chairperson, R.N.T. College, Kapasan & Chittorgarh is a Young, Energetic and Dynamic personality. Being from a rural background he initiated his journey towards the education system, work hard to get world class facilities to his people.
It is his lifelong aim & mission to provide education for better and improved livelihood to lead a successful and dignified life. He always had an inclination to provide affordable education and financial support to all the poor and talented students of all society so that they can have equal standing in today’s world.”

After being elected as a president of the central student union of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur (Raj.) in 2001, he decided to put his life and efforts towards educating masses in this area, as of his belongings to Kapasan in Rajasthan. He always felt and understood the need for a college at Kapasan. Thus, in the year 2002, he founded Deeksha Creations Society under which R.N.T. P.G. College was started with initially B.A. and B.Com. courses. From the session 2002-2003 onward college was inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan Shri Anshuman Singh Ji. This was the beginning of his journey. The Journey which started in 2002 has covered several milestones till this date – A brief overview of various institutions established one by one during the course of thirteen years are :–

  • 2003:- R.N.T. Law college was established at district headquarter, Chittorgarh
  • 2004:- Degree college at district headquarter, Chittorgarh
  • 2005: B.Ed. colleges are in Dabok, Udaipur and in Chittorgarh
  • 2006: B.Ed., Shiksha Shastri College at district headquarter, Chittorgarh
  • 2008: STC college at district headquarter, Chittorgarh
  • 2012: A course in Master of Computer Application was started with the establishment of R. N. T. Institute of Technical Studies. A playgroup school “BACHPAN” was also started at Kapasan campus.
  • 2013: Deeksha International School up to class X with CBSE courses was established .
  • 2015: College offering BSTC Girls were started at  Chittorgarh.
  • 2016-17: Launching  M.Sc.( Industrial Chemistry).
  • 2016-17: Opening new courses – CA-CPT Coaching and RS-CIT Computer Certification.
  • 2017-18: Launch M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry)
  • 2018-19: PG College NAAC Accreditation
  • 2019-20:  Launch M.Sc. (Physics & Zoology )
  • 2020-21: Launch B.Sc.(Biotech) and MSW.
